Jay R. Alleman
Jay Alleman is the Administrative Coordinator and Chief of Staff to the Independent Monitor, responsible for implementing and overseeing office procedures and budget. He has served as a teacher, advisor, principal, and administrative coordinator. He has 34 years of experience in special education including 17 years as a principal in Los Angeles Unified School District.
Dr. Jaime E. Hernandez
Jaime Hernandez is the Outreach Coordinator. He is responsible for organizing the Independent Monitor's outreach to the Los Angeles Unified School community. He has also served as a bilingual school psychologist, special education and general education teacher in LAUSD and Santa Ana Unified School District. He received his doctorate in education from the University of Southern California.
